Recycling

              Recycling
     by Blake Carlson

Have you ever thought about how the earth gets so polluted? Many            endangered animals are going extinct because of earth pollution and landfills. In my
opinion, I strongly believe that ever on should recycle every thing they can. Recycling is a
very important thing to do, plastic waste is contaminated from materials such as
paper and ink, and recycling has environmental benefits.

Recycling is a very important thing to do. When you don’t recycle It makes harmful chemicals/gasses  that are released from landfills. Recycling helps to stop air pollution caused by trash. Deforestation, global warming, and habitat destruction are also things caused by not recycling.

Plastic waste is contaminated from things such as paper, and ink. In 2013 Americans made about 254 million tons of trash, and recycled and composted 87 million tons of this material equal to 34.4% recycling rate. On average we recycle 1.511 lbs of of our trash.

Recycling has environmental benefits. First it reduces the need for extracting, refining, and processing raw materials. These all do bad things to the environment including substantial air, water pollution, air pollution etc. Recycling saves energy and it also reduces greenhouse gasses emissions.

In conclusion, I strongly believe that you should recycle so that trash doesn’t go to landfills. In
my opinion, I strongly everyone should recycle everything they can. Recycling is a
very important thing to do, plastic waste is contaminated from materials such as
paper and ink, and recycling has environmental benefits.
If you ever find paper, plastic or something you can recycle on the ground

Ben Franklin

      Ben Franklin
     by Blake Carlson

(Zap) yes my house didn’t get struck by lightning, we thank Ben Franklin for his amazing invention the lightning rod. Franklin had a delightful childhood, made history changing inventions, and had some difficult challenges. All of his inventions started with when he was younger.

Ben had an amazing childhood. He was born on January 17th, 1706 in Boston Massachusetts. Ben loved to read and write but unfortunately he only got to go to school for two years. When Ben was eleven he had to work for his brother, James Franklin, Ben didn’t enjoy working for his brother. When he worked for his brother sometimes he would put a story he wrote called Poor Richard’s Almanac. Ben’s creativity open doors to his great inventions when he was growing up.

Ben had some history changing inventions. When Ben was sixty in 1776 during the Revolutionary War he became one of the Founding Fathers. He also helped declare American Independence. Franklin invented the lightning rod to keep houses from getting hit by lightning. Ben had some great inventions and accomplishments but he had some obstacles that would always get in his way.

Ben Franklin had some difficult obstacles that he had to deal with in his life. In the Revolutionary War he was battling his own son. When Ben made the lightbulb nobody believed him. Ben’s brother would never let him publish paper, and he went through starvation. Ben Franklin had an amazing and difficult life.

Ben Franklin contributes to the USA by signing the Declaration of Independence and giving Americans civil rights. Franklin had a great childhood, made future changing inventions, and had some challenging obstacles.

“Do not fear mistakes. You will know failure. Continue to reach out.” - Benjamin Franklin
