The Big Game

     The Big Game
      by Blake A. Carlson

“Crash” goes the noise of T.J. Watt sacking the QB Kirk Cousins, and it’s a fumble and Watt recovers it but “crack” he broke his leg. “TJ...  TJ” said Dr. Morris “TJ are you awake, TJ.” “Yeah I’m awake” said TJ. “You where trying to recover a fumble and broke your leg” said Dr. Morris “you won’t be able to play football for the next  four weeks.” “Set HIKE” said Ben Roethlisberger as the center snapped the ball high and hard right at his helmet, and catches the ball and gets ready to throw the ball but from out of nowhere in comes a linebacker, Roethlisberger is about to scramble but he sees Antonio Brown wide and deep and he throws the ball and... BROWN CATCHES IT TOUCHDOWN! Steelers kick off and the Redskins recover and return it to the twenty yard line, the Kirk cousins throw a perfect pass to Jehu Chesson, but wait in comes Brian Allen and intercepted it he’s going, going, gone pick six. The score is 14-14 Steelers kick off and take a touchback with thirty seconds left the Redskins go for a hail mary deep but wait they do a hand off... he’s going and Vince Willams takes him down at there thirty and there going for the field goal and miss their going into overtime first to score wins and the Redskins kick off and James Conner returns and right off the back scores STEELERS WIN!

Animals in Captivity

        Animals in Captivity
  By Blake A. Carlson

Hi have you ever heard of Owen and Mzee, Owen got taken away by a tsunami and got stuck on a coral reef and was taken into Haller Park, I think that animals should be in captivity because animals are safe from predators.

In my opinion I believe that animals should be in captivity for instance in the text Ivan the Shopping Mall Gorilla, Ivan was captured by poachers and taken to a mall and was not treated well, but then he was taken to a new in closers and he felt free to run around.

Animals in captivity such an in closer they are safe from being harmed, for example in the text Owen and Mzee, Owen the hippo was taken to Haller Park because he was washed up by a tsunami and was struck on a coral reef but in Haller Park that would not have happened, Owen was safe in Haller Park from predators and he had room to run around.

Animals in captivity like in a animal sanctuary, animals don’t have to hunt for food, for instance the book Rags by Margot Theis Raven, before rags was found by Private Donovan live on the streets eating food from the trash, when Donovan found Rags he became part of the Military and he got his food there.

In conclusion I strongly believe that animals are content and safe in captivity animal are safe from injuries, don’t have to hunt for food, and there predators can not harm them. Help keep animals safe and donate to a local humane society or sanctuary.
